Ravel Morrison has officially completed a transfer away from Lazio, and he's given his first interview since joining.

The 26-year-old was bouncing from club-to-club on loan from Lazio.

He enjoyed loan spells at Championship side Queens Park Rangers then Mexican outfit Altas, where he played 25 games in all competitions scoring four goals.

But he's now got a new club after signing for Swedish team Ostersunds on a permanent deal.

Morrison's 'really looking forward' to the new challenge and he's hoping to rebuild his career away from England.

"I'm here to rebuild myself really," he said. "Enjoy it, play football, win everything we can, it's exciting, I'm really looking forward to it.

Ostersunds rose to prominence when they beat Arsenal in the second-leg of a Europa League tie in 2018.

"This team beat my team as well, it wasn't a great day when it happened being an Arsenal fan because I wasn't linked with you then, but now it is all about thinking positive," he added.

Morrison has yet to fully reach his potential though he showed a glimpse of his ability in Mexico.

Rio Ferdinand once dropped a huge compliment on the midfield talent.

"I was at [United] when he was there," he said.

"Probably the most gifted, the most naturally gifted young kid I've ever seen.

"Sir Alex Ferguson, I remember, he called me and Wazza [Wayne Rooney] over one day and said: 'look at this kid, he's better than you, Rooney when you were a kid, he's better than you, Rio, better than Ryan Giggs when you were kids. This is the best kid you will ever see.'"
