Harry Kane's preferred destination has been revealed amid reports claiming the Tottenham star wants to leave the club this summer.

Kane, 27, has reiterated his desire for a transfer at the end of the season with a host of clubs interested in signing the forward.

Manchester United and Chelsea have already been in touch with the player's representatives while Paris Saint-Germain are thought to be keen on luring him away from England.

But it appears Manchester City are leading the race to sign Kane with the Premier League champions his preferred destination.

That's according to talkSPORT who report that Kane would prefer a move to Man City as he plans to stay in the Premier League.

The Blues could be in the market for a new No.9 with Sergio Aguero leaving the club in the summer.

Pep Guardiola's side have also been linked with a blockbuster move for Borussia Dortmund phenom Erling Haaland, who has been the subject of intense transfer speculation.

Asked about his pursuit for a new striker, Guardiola remained tight-lipped and suggested Ferran Torres as a potential successor to Aguero.

He said: "I don't know what's going to happen. Maybe we buy a striker, maybe not.

"We have a guy, he's [Ferran Torres] young. A good transfer. I can use him left, right, striker."

The Spaniard added: "The season is too long, we can't play just 11 players, the best striker we can buy can't play all the minutes.

"You have to have 15, 16, 17 top players you want, then the academy, we have two, three, four so interesting players I'm pretty sure next season will help us."
