Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a wanted man.

(Some ridiculous things Zlatan has said:)

The towering Swede only returned from his ACL injury recently, but he's back in the Old Trafford medical room, not happy with his condition after making a speedy recovery.

Ibrahimovic has played just seven games in all competitions this season, scoring a goal in his only start since returning to the fold - a free-kick against Bristol City, a game which they ultimately lost 2-1 courtesy of a last-gasp goal from Korey Smith.

But with the January window in full flow, he's attracting interest from Turkey.

Galatasaray and Besiktas are plotting a offer for Ibrahimovic who want him for the second half of the season. Two of Turkey's biggest clubs are set to enter a transfer tug of war, according to fotoMac.

Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbekone has expressed a keen desire to lure the 36-year-old to his club who are second in the Super Lig, one point behind Istanbul Basaksehir.

Could we see Ibrahimovic strut his stuff at the lively Turk Telecom Stadium?

Though Besiktas are also in the running. The club have just sold Cenk Tosun to Everton for £27 million, and are looking at the United striker as a replacement.

Besiktas are fourth in the league, but the arrival of Ibrahimovic could spur them on ahead of the rest of the campaign.

They also have the funds following the sale of Tosun to pay his high wage for the season.

In the summer, Ibrahimovic signed a new one-year contract to remain at United after a stunning debut season in England.

But is he about to cut short his spell with United to head to Turkey?

Some huge names have plied their trade in Turkey; Emmanuel Eboue, Didier Drogba, Wesley Sneijder, among others, will Zlatan be next? Watch this space.
