TWO Manchester United stars have reportedly put their January transfer plans on hold following the imminent arrival of Ralf Rangnick.
The 63-year-old is poised to join the Old Trafford club on a deal until the end of the season.
He'll also take on a consultancy role with the club for two further years.
Rangnick's arrival appears to be a popular choice among the Man United fanbase, not to mention the first team.
Temporary manager Michael Carrick started the Dutchman in his side's 2-0 victory over Villarreal in the Champions League.
The report claims that the 40-year-old has stressed to the squad that every member has a clean slate following Solskjaer's departure.
Van de Beek and Martial, in particular, were encouraged by their selection for the Champions League win and will now re-asses their options ahead of the window reopening in January
The pair of Man United stars have played bit-part roles this season, but their preference is to find regular games at the club rather than leave.
They'll see how the next six weeks pans out before making a decision on their future.
Van de Beek had been linked with a move to Newcastle United and Barcelona while Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain were thought to be interested in signing Martial.
