A bidding war has begun over the signature of Real Betis' Spanish u21 star Dani Ceballos.
The 20-year-old midfielder was one of the stars of the recent u21 European Championships in Poland, being crowned as the Player of The Tournament en route to helping Spain reach the final, where they lost to Germany.
And, with news of Ceballos' minimum fee release clause being as low as €15 million, two European heavyweights have been quick to submit offers for the Betis wonderkid.

Despite Barcelona's strong interest, it is not Ernesto Valverde's side who are being credited with any of the offers that have apparently been submitted for Ceballos' services, so far.

Instead, Barca's El Clasico rivals Real Madrid are believed to have tabled a bid of €20 million, €5 million above his release clause, with Serie A champions Juventus matching Los Blancos' offer.

The extra €5 milllion is claimed to be commissions for Ceballos' agent and entourage, according to Football Italia, who are also reporting that, despite the Italian champions' interest, Ceballos would prefer a move to Real.

Despite his tender years, Ceballos has already been a first team regular for Betis for the last two seasons, making over 60 appearances for Los Verdiblancos in the process.

Even though they are yet to officially table an offer for the 20-year-old, Barcelona are still rumoured to be considering doing so, although the Blaugrana's attentions seem to be focused solely on landing PSG's Italian midfielder Marco Verratti, at the current time.
