Tottenham Plotting £50 Million Summer Move For Wilfried Zaha

Tottenham Plotting £50 Million Summer Move For Wilfried Zaha

It would be a real statement of intent...

Spurs are said to be plotting a massive £50 million move for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha in the summer.

The Ivorian international has been courted by the North London club for a while now, with Tottenham unsuccessfully attempting to sign the former Manchester United man last season.

Manchester City and Chelsea are both showing interest in the 25-year old, who is arguably the best player in the Premier League outside of the top six and was in brilliant form for the Eagles this season before his recent injury.

And despite Spurs drafting in PSG winger Lucas Moura in January, as per Gary Jacob from The Times, they are still pushing to sign Zaha when the summer transfer window rolls around, irrespective of whether or not Roy Hodgson's side are relegated from the Premier League.

Zaha is clearly too good for Palace but the Selhurst Park will obviously demand a substantial fee for their prize asset, with £50 million the price being talked about to land him.

Signing Zaha and fending off competition from Premier League rivals City and Chelsea would be a huge statement of intent for Spurs going into their first season at their £750 million new stadium.

Can you see Zaha to Spurs happening? Would it be the perfect move for him?
