Third Tier Club Offers Loris Karius One-Year Deal To 'Rediscover His Strength'
Loris Karius is a wanted man. Albeit a club in the third tier. He's been offered a deal to leave Anfield this summer.
The Liverpool keeper produced a couple of horrendous howlers in the Champions League final.
His blunders allowed not one but TWO Real Madrid goals.
Karius was extremely apologetic at the full-time whistle, asking for forgiveness from the traveling Liverpool supporters.
He reacted by giving a heartbreaking interview not to mention a few emotional posts on social media.
Haven't really slept until now... the scenes are still running through my head again and again... I'm infinitely sorry to my teammates, for you fans, and for all the staff. I know that I messed it up with the two mistakes and let you all down... pic.twitter.com/w9GixPiQDC- Loris Karius (@LorisKarius) May 27, 2018
Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp has wasted no time in snapping up new players. Fabinho is a done deal. And he's also identified a stopper. Following Karius' awful outing against Real Madrid, that search will only intensify.
Where does that leave the 24-year-old German?

Well, a third tier club in the shape of Serie C Rimini FC have offered him a career lifeline.
Rimini FC president Giorgio Grassi penned an open letter, extending an offer to Karius.
"On June 22, Loris Karius will turn 25 years old. I would like to host the German goalkeeper for a few days in Rimini, a welcoming town that has always been frequented by his fellow countrymen and women," the statement reads via 101 Great Goals.
"I would be happy to meet him in Rimini to remind him that it just takes courage, or perhaps good sense, to understand the best life lessons are often also the toughest, the most difficult to bear.
"We've all been through these moments, unfortunately for him, his moment was in front of millions of people. At the end of the day, the only real failure is allowing defeat to get the better of us.
"I would like to help Loris become a great example to those who in football, as in life, fall and get back on their feet. I'd like to offer a gift for his birthday: a year-long contract with Rimini FC, the ideal club to rediscover his calm, self-belief and strength to follow his dreams.
"Let it be clear, this wouldn't be a walk in the park, because he'd be in competition with a great goalkeeper like Francesco 'Ciccio' Scotti, but he'd certainly find a big family and a city ready to support him as he got back to being a Number One in the Lega Pro."
