Takefusa Kubo To Leave Real Madrid On Loan This Summer
Real Madrid's teenage sensation Takefusa Kubo will join Real Mallorca on a season-long loan despite impressing in pre-season.
Kubo, 18, has decided to join Real Mallorca instead of Real Valladolid on loan ahead of the Spanish transfer deadline, with widespread reports claiming the clubs are "very close" to reaching an agreement.
Real Madrid believe that the budding talent is ready to play top flight football opposed to spending time in their Castilla side.
Earlier in pre-season, Zinedine Zidane said Kubo is a player for the future and insists the club must be patient with him.
"There are many players who have come on pre-season with us from the youth system," he said.
"Kubo has joined us recently and he is a player for the future, but we will talk about what is best with him and it could be good that he trains with us and plays for the Castilla, we will see.
"He is still very young, and we must be patient with his development."

Kubo's fully aware of the buzz he's created in Japan following his showings for Real Madrid.
"I know what's happening in my country," he said in pre-season. "People are a bit... There is a lot of focus placed on me, and I don't really like that. I do my thinking on the pitch."
Kubo enjoyed four years at Barcelona's famed youth academy La Masia before joining Real Madrid for £1.78 million this summer. They fended off fierce competition to land the exciting attacker.
He's been dubbed the 'Japanese Messi' with Spanish media hailing the signing as a "masterstroke".
