Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola isn't the type of man to beat around the bush when it comes to making big decisions.

Just look at last season's infamous bust up with Joe Hart. The 30-year-old may have been England's number one goalkeeper at the time, but Hart ended up in Serie A with Torino and the rest is history.

Months later, Hart now looks to be on his way out of the Etihad after former Barcelona manager Guardiola reportedly left him out of the club's pre season tour to the US.

Hart will join the likes of Eliaquim Mangala, Samir Nasri, Wilfried Bony and Jason Denayer at home, according to The Mail

Manchester City will face Manchester United, Tottenham and Real Madrid in the 2017 International Champions Cup, presented by Heineken, but the above will be disappointed to not feature.

Mangala joined City for a reported £31.8 million transfer fee back in 2014, but the 26-year-old has failed to maintain a regular place in the first team since his big money move.

Samir Nasri, who was bought for £24m, and the £28m Wilfried Bony have also struggled to make a real impact at the Etihad, while Jason Denayer has yet to make a competitive first team appearance for the club.

In terms of Joe Hart's future, despite being England's number one and an established Premier League player with two league titles to his name, clubs have not exactly been queuing up to sign Hart, with the 30-year-old's wages proving to be a sticking point for many teams.

West Ham were briefly linked with a move for the former Shrewsbury Town youngster, as were Liverpool, although City were unwilling to sell Hart to a top four rival.

The Mail, however, reported earlier this week that Newcastle have made an enquiry about Hart's availability.

Manager Rafa Benitez believes Hart's Premier League experience could be vital to Newcastle maintaining their top flight status next season, with the 30-year-old having made over 300 appearances in the Premier League, keeping 119 clean sheets in the process.
