Sergi Guardiola may share a surname with a Barcelona legend, but his legacy with the La Liga giants is the stark opposite of Pep's all conquering reputation, with the young midfielder sacked from the club after just seven hours and 13 minutes, following the discovery of several anti-Barcelona social media posts.

Guardiola joined Granada in January, being promoted to the first team this Summer but, since the Andalusian club have brought aboard a host of new signings, Guardiola has found himself on the edges of the squad and has now secured a loan move to the Australian A-League.

The Spanish club's official Twitter feed has confirmed that the 25-year-old has joined Adelaide United on a season long deal.

Let's just hope there's no anti-Australian sentiment to be found anywhere in Guardiola's social media profiles.
