The likelihood of Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Spain for Juventus is gathering pace and ahead of the potential mega sale, Real Madrid fans have been voting on who they want to replace him with.

And there's a clear winner.

Ronaldo is reportedly set to join Juventus, penning a four-year contract worth a staggering £26.5 million per season.

The 33-year-old has been an ever present for Real Madrid since his then record-breaking transfer from Manchester United in 2009, scoring goals for fun in all competitions.

He's spearheaded Real Madrid to silverware including the Champions League an impressive four times, three years on the trot.

However, if the Portuguese superstar calls time on his career at the Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid fans will need a new talisman to guide them to club glory.

And fans have spoken.

Spanish outlet AS ran a poll asking supporters on who they wanted to replace Ronaldo.

Kylian Mbappe topped the poll ahead of Neymar with the Paris Saint-Germain starlet receiving a whopping 89.5% of the votes.

Neymar weighed in with just 10.5% of the votes.

The 19-year-old sensation rose to fame following his heroics for AS Monaco, which resulted in a high-profile switch to PSG.

And he's continued his brilliance at the World Cup, starring for France bagging a stunning brace against Argentina.

Anyway, Mbappe and Neymar have been heavily linked with a move away from the French capital despite only joining last summer.

Real Madrid are believed to be keen on snapping up their services. Though the Spanish giants issued a statement categorically denying any transfer interest.

"Given the information published in the last few hours regarding an alleged agreement between Real Madrid C.F. and PSG for the player Kylian Mbappe, Real Madrid would like to state that it is completely false."
