The Eden Hazard to Real Madrid rumours won't go away and the latest is that the Belgium talisman is "inching ever closer" to becoming Los Blancos' next big Galactico signing.

That's because according to MARCA, Real Madrid are increasingly confident that they can finally bring him to the club in the summer window after what feels like endless speculation.

Hazard's desire of playing for the 13-time European champions is no secret and it's said he is prepared to reject any other offers and wait until the summer window for Real to come calling, as he does not want to disrupt Chelsea's season.

In an ideal world, Real would want to draft him in straight away because of his special qualities, coupled by their struggles this season.

But at the same time they are prepared to wait until the summer, when Hazard will have just one year left on his contract after he rejected Chelsea's advances to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge.

While Real are hopeful of using Hazard's contract situation as a means to negotiate a better price, 100 million euros is the price tag Chelsea have set - influenced by the huge money involved in Paul Pogba and Neymar's transfers to Manchester United and Neymar respectively.

Hazard, who secured a spot in the top 100 footballers in the world, revealed in October that his future at Stamford Bridge remained uncertain, and talked up Real.

"I want what's good for me, but I want what's good for the club because the club has given me everything," he said.

"I don't want to say: 'Yes, I am signing a new contract' and then, in the end, I don't end up signing. So I will see. Sometimes in my head, I wake up in the morning and think I want to go.

"Sometimes I think I want to stay. It is a hard decision. It is my future. I am 27 and I will turn 28 in January.

"That's why I spoke after the World Cup and I said that I think it is time to change because I played a great World Cup.

"I am really in the game, I am playing good football at the moment. Real Madrid is the best club in the world. I don't want to lie today.

"It is my dream since I was a kid. I was dreaming about this club. We will see. I don't want to talk about this every day. I don't have time but we will talk about my future soon. I think so."

Is Hazard to Real Madrid inevitable?
