It looks like Chelsea are all set for another successful Premier League season. The acquisition of Tiemoué Bakayoko from AS Monaco has been hailed by many, and Alvaro Morata's arrival will certainly bring goals to Antonio Conte's side.

Antonio Rudiger also completed his £34 million move from Roma in June to cap off an impressive spell in the transfer window, but in an unexpected turn of events, the Premier League champions want to make another signing.

According to Sky Sports, Chelsea are interested in signing Danny Drinkwater from Leicester City.

I repeat, Chelsea are interested in signing Danny Drinkwater from Leicester City and the internet had to refresh their feeds in astonishment.

Last summer, the Foxes were set to lose England international Drinkwater after heavy interest from Tottenham Hotspur, but nothing materialised. Mauricio Pochettino's men were linked with a £20 million bid for the player.

12 months later, with three years left on his current deal at the King Power, Drinkwater has been eyed as a possible midfield reinforcement.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is keen on bringing another midfielder to the club following Nemanja Matic's move to Manchester United on Monday afternoon.

As you can imagine, the internet reacted in style to reports linking Drinkwater with a move to Stamford Bridge.

To be honest, we can't believe it either:

No, really.

Do you think Drinkwater is the right player for Antonio Conte and Chelsea?

Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
