Bookmakers Slash Odds On Harry Kane Joining Manchester United From 33/1 To 4/1

Bookmakers Slash Odds On Harry Kane Joining Manchester United From 33/1 To 4/1

Former Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic teased earlier this week that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has something special up his sleeve ahead of the new season, so could a move for Tottenham striker Harry Kane be just that?

The 36-year-old was visiting the team in pre-season training when he said:

"It is great to see the guys and see them happy see them train good ready for this season because something special will happen and I think the boss has something going on, but I will keep that a secret. Enjoy the season, I wish you all the best."

It certainly got tongues wagging and just days later, bookmakers including Paddy Power have dramatically slashed odds on Kane joining Old Trafford this summer.

In fact odds have dropped from 33/1 to 4/1 after a huge amount of punters put money on the transfer happening.

Paddy Power spokesman Lee Price said: "We are laying Harry Kane to go to Manchester United - it's come from nowhere. The bets have just kept on coming and we've had to keep slashing and slashing the price. It seems punters can't get enough of it."

"It appears United really could get their man and that Kane may be heading to Old Trafford.

As you can see in the above odds, Real Madrid are 4/1 to bring Kane to the Bernabeu this summer but now Manchester United are head to head with Los Blancos in the running for England's Golden Boot winner.

Barcelona are third favourites to snap up the player at 33/1, while Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are outsiders at 40/1 and 60/1.

Do you think Harry Kane would flourish at Old Trafford or should he remain at Tottenham?
