Arsenal On The Verge Of Replacing Aaron Ramsey, Fans Are Fuming

It appears Arsenal are set to replace Aaron Ramsey in January, and their fans have reacted.

The Welsh midfielder will be a free agent at the end of the season when his contract expires. He's expected to leave with a host of clubs interested in his services.

Juventus, AC Milan, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, among others, have reportedly all expressed an interest.

And if reports in Spain are to be believed, Unai Emery already has his replacement lined up and it's one of his former players.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Arsenal are closing in on signing Ever Banega with the Sevilla midfielder's agent in London to hold talks about a potential transfer.

Emery and Banega worked together in Spain's La Liga at Sevilla.

The Argentina international, 30, is an experienced campaigner who has played his best football in Spain's top flight. He's enjoyed spells at Valencia and Sevilla.

Reports suggest he'll set Arsenal back £20 million in view to a January switch.

But Arsenal fans aren't too excited about the prospect of Banega plying his trade in North London.
