It was expected, following his departure from Real Madrid, that Pepe would join PSG, with the French club holding talks with the Portuguese centre-half over a move to the Parc des Princes.
That is now not the case and with talks between the Portugal international and the club from the French capital breaking down, the former Real Madrid man is bound for Turkish giants Besiktas.
Marca are reporting that the 34-year-old has changed his mind over a move to Paris, despite having a medical with the former French champions.
Now, instead of completing a deal with PSG, Pepe will travel to Istanbul to complete a medical with Besiktas before putting pen to paper on what is believed to be a two-year deal.
