Giroud joined the ranks at Stamford Bridge in a deal worth a reported £18 million as other Premier League strikers moved elsewhere.

Michy Batshuayi joined Borussia Dortmund but according to the former Arsenal striker, the Bundesliga side wanted him as well as a Serie A and La Liga team.
"I had offers from Dortmund, Sevilla, and Roma, but Antonio Conte convinced me to join Chelsea." Giroud told French outlet Telefoot.

Giroud sat on the sidelines in his new Chelsea tracksuit as Giroud watched three second-half goals in 16 minutes from Bournemouth in a shock defeat.
Callum Wilson, Junior Stanislas and former player Nathan Ake gave Bournemouth a shock victory at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night, but Giroud will be looking to hit the ground running
