The 30-year-old remains subject to intense transfer speculation with the player heavily linked with a return to England's top flight.
Everton have expressed an interest in signing the Spain international, and it appears Wolves are also in the mix to sign him from Atletico Madrid.
Costa's agent Jorge Mendes has confirmed that his client has had offers to return to England.
"Diego has had numerous offers to return back to England but only one has stood out," he said.
His days in Madrid appear to be numbered with a move back to England on the cards.
Costa potentially joining Nuno Espírito Santo's outfit has got fans talking. Here's some reaction from social media:
Diego Costa heading to either Wolves or Everton is something to be scared about.

Some Wolves fans saying Diego Costa wouldn't fit in our team / isn't a Nuno sort of player. If a player of that quality becomes available you make him fit. #wwfc

Costa enjoyed a prolific spell with Chelsea from 2014 to 2017.
He scored a combined 52 league goals across three seasons as he won an impressive two league titles.
Wolves have already shelled out big cash for a striker this summer. They snapped up Raul Jimenez on a permanent deal following his superb loan spell last season in a transfer worth £34 million.
