Barcelona are wasting little time in moving on from Neymar, with reports suggesting that the Catalan giants are already well on their way to securing a deal for the Brazilian's replacement.

Neymar became the world's most expensive footballer earlier this week, when he completed his monumental €222 million move to Paris Saint-Germain.

And while Barcelona and La Liga may have taken umbrage with the way the Parisians conducted their business, with the financial backing of Qatar, the five time European champions are now spending the hundreds of millions they received for the former Brazil captain as quickly as they received it.

Sky reporter Kaveh Solkehol broke the news last night that Borussia Dortmund forward Ousmane Dembele is 'on his way' to the Camp Nou in a deal worth €100 million.

Should the deal be completed, it would represent an €85 million profit for Dortmund, who brought Dembele to Signal Iduna Park only a year ago for €15 million from Ligue Un side Rennes.

Solhekol had reported on Friday that Real Madrid had also turned their attentions to Dembele, after hitting a brick wall in their €160 million pursuit of Monaco teenager Kylian Mbappe. However, the Dortmund forward was always believed to have favoured a move to Barca over a switch to Los Blancos and it would now appear that the Catalans have moved into pole position to land the 20-year-old, who has been a long term target of their's since his time at Rennes.

Dembele starred in Dortmund's penalty shoot-out defeat to Bayern Munich in the German Super Cup, last night, displaying further proof as to why he's become one of European football's hottest properties over the last 12 months.

The French international made 49 appearances for BVB in his debut season, scoring 10 goals. He also broke into the French national team, where he has earned seven caps, scoring once, in the recent 3-2 friendly victory over England at the Stade de France.

The news of Dembele's impending move to the Camp Nou will likely come as a welcome relief to Liverpool fans, with a big money move for the Dortmund forward almost certain to end Barcelona's interest in the Reds' Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho.
