Neven Subotic's Move To Middlesbrough Is Off
Middlesbrough looked to be on the brink of signing Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic this week after both clubs agreed a fee for the 27-year-old, but it looks like the deal has collapsed, according to The Northern Echo.
The report suggests there may have been complications during Neven Subotic's medical, as he did finish last season sidelined with a thrombosis problem.
Newly-promoted Boro were thought to have agreed an £8 million deal with the German side, but the deal has collapsed after strong rumours he would join up with the side in Marbella this week.
Alvaro Negredo's move is still on the cards while Gaston Ramirez signed a contract at the club yesterday.

You can't help but think what a signing Subotic would have been for the North-East outfit.
