Following their impressive away goals victory over Manchester City in the Champions League round of 16, it should come as no surprise that many of AS Monaco's prodigious talents are being linked with moves to Europe's biggest clubs.

Tiemoue Bakayoko is one of those talents and the 22-year-old midfielder already appears to have made his mind up about where his next destination will be, if reports are to be believed.

With so many wonderkids making their names at Monaco, currently, will we see any of them go the same way as these one time prodigies?

Metro are reporting (via The Mirror) that Bakayoko has been watched several times by Manchester United scouts over the past few weeks, but the Frenchman actually would prefer a move to Premier League leaders Chelsea.

United scouts ran the rule over Bakayoko and his 18-year-old teammate Kylian Mbappe during Monaco's 3-1 victory over City, last week, with both men finding the back of the net.

Bakayoko has since been called up to the France national team by manager Didier Deschamps as a replacement for Pogba, who dropped out due to a hamstring injury he suffered during United's Europa League clash with Rostov, on Thursday.

However, despite their interest, it is believed United are now behind Chelsea in the queue for Bakayoko's signature, with the Champions elect ready to pull the trigger on a big money move for the 22-year-old.

Despite spending £140m last Summer, Blues boss Antonio Conte still wants to add a significant amount of world class talent to his squad, with four new signings being targeted during the upcoming transfer window.

It is believed the Italian manager wants a striker, a centre-back and a right-sided defender as well as Bakayoko, this Summer.
