Real Madrid are set to revive their interest in David De Gea following Zinedine Zidane's managerial return.

The Frenchman is back in charge of Real Madrid and he's already made some bold moves.

He dropped summer signing Thibaut Courtois from his starting XI on Saturday while drafting in Keylor Navas. But it appears he has his eyes on a new No.1 and it's that man again.

According to Mirror, Real Madrid are keen on snapping up De Gea from Manchester United.

The Spanish stopper was on the brink of joining Real Madrid in 2015 until a fax machine prevented a deal from crossing the line.

A few years on from that incident, Real Madrid will renew their interest in De Gea as Zidane maps out his transfer targets ahead of the summer window.

De Gea isn't the only player Zidane is tracking. A host of players have been linked with a stunning move to the Santiago Bernabeu following his appointment.

Spurs' Christian Eriksen, Chelsea's Eden Hazard and Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar, among others, are reported targets for Real Madrid as they're hellbent on signing a 'Galactico' in the summer.

The Belgium maestro is a popular choice among Real Madrid fans. He topped an interesting poll ahead of Neymar and Eriksen.

What's more, it is believed that club president Florentino Perez will hand the new manager a massive transfer budget of £300 million to improve the current team - a kitty that could be used to bring in a marque talent for the first time since 2014.
