Harry Kane and Erling Haaland are among the strikers on Manchester City's reported four-man transfer shortlist to replace Sergio Aguero.

Aguero will leave Man City after a prolific ten-year spell at the end of the season when his contract expires.

And Pep Guardiola will be backed by the club this summer as he looks to replace the outgoing Argentine star.

Kane, 27, is the joint-top scorer in the Premier League with 21 goals this season.

His future has been clouded with uncertainty amid talks he's set to leave Tottenham if they fail to qualify for the Champions League, which looks a certainty.

Haaland, who has a staggering 39 goals in all competitions this campaign, has been the subject of intense transfer speculation with a host of clubs looking to lure him away from Borussia Dortmund.

City are also thought to be eyeing the likes of Martinez and Silva.

It's set be a huge summer for the Blues as they look to add more silverware to their trophy cabinet next term.

And snapping up a star striker could prove crucial in the club's attempt to bag more trophies.

Newcastle legend Alan Shearer, meanwhile, has advised Kane to leave Spurs if he wants to win trophies in his career.

He said: "I left Blackburn a season after we won the title and we were nowhere near winning the title so that kind of make my mind up because I wanted to do then go on and do things.

"If Harry wants an excuse, then Tottenham and that team are giving him one because they didn't show up for the cup final and they didn't show up again today [against Leeds].

"If I was in his position then I'd be looking elsewhere to go and try to win some trophies."
