Manchester United Eye Move For Real Madrid Star Who Has Whopping £640 Million Release Clause
Manchester United are eyeing a sensational move for Real Madrid star Federico Valverde and could use Paul Pogba as a potential makeweight in a deal.
Valverde, 22, has become a key player for Zinedine Zidane's side and has a whopping £640 million release clause in his contract.
He's attracting interest from all over Europe with United keen on snapping him up despite signing midfielders Bruno Fernandes and Donny van de Beek in recent windows.
The Sun claim the Premier League giants could include Pogba in a deal to sign the Uruguayan international.
United's French midfielder, meanwhile, has extended his stay at Old Trafford by one-year.

Speaking about tying him down until 2022, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: "Paul's our player.
"He's going to be here for another two years and sure he's focused on doing his best for us and we want to see the best from Paul and I'm sure in the next couple of years we'll get the best out of him."
"Yes, all footballers would like to play for Real Madrid," the 27-year-old said on international duty.
"Maybe it is a dream. It is a dream for me, why not one day? As I have said, I am at Manchester United and I like my club.
"I am performing at Manchester United, I am enjoying myself and I want to do everything I can to get the club back to where it deserves to be.
"I am going to give my maximum, like my teammates. I prefer to concentrate on football and on returning to fitness."
