Barcelona have reportedly offered Luis Suarez to Juventus to free up funds for Neymar who continues to dominate the summer transfer window.
Neymar has been the subject of intense transfer speculation with both Barcelona and Real Madrid hellbent on snapping up the Brazilian superstar.
The Catalan giants have courted the attacker all summer and with the Spanish transfer deadline approaching, it appears the club have made a last-ditch attempt to resign their former player.
According to reports in Italy, Suarez has been offered to the Italian champions by Barcelona so they can fund the signing of Neymar.
Juventus remain in the market for a new forward after failing to sign Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku, who moved to Inter Milan.
Suarez isn't Juventus' first choice, but they could be tempted with a move if they fail to draft in a striker before Italy's transfer deadline.
Neymar, Suarez and Lionel Messi formed a terrifying attacking trident but if the 27-year-old does return to the Camp Nou, it may be at the expense of the Uruguayan.
Paris Saint-Germain, meanwhile, have begun their season without Neymar and club captain Thiago Silva is hoping his international compatriot stays put in the French capital.
"Of course we miss him," he said. "I hope that in the end, he will be able to stay with us because he is an incredible guy, an indispensable player for this team but we have to wait for what will happen at the end of the transfer window.
"I cannot answer [if he will leave], but I feel he can stay.
"Neymar is a key player on this team, and he decides if he's happy to stay or not. It is difficult to get into things like that, it's between him and the club right now.
"We have to wait until the end to see what he decides, but I hope that in the end, he will stay. That way we will be much stronger."
Will Neymar leave PSG this summer? Stay tuned.
