Pepe Reina to Liverpool?

Well, the former Anfield star is subject to intense transfer speculation with reports linking him with an emotional return.

Reina, 35, is currently plying his trade in Italy with Napoli. Though, his contract is up at the end of the season, and he's garnering interest from around Europe including Liverpool.

The Spanish keeper enjoyed eight seasons in Merseyside becoming a fan favourite during his spell from 2005 to 2013.

And since his departure, Liverpool have failed to nail down a permanent No.1.

Jurgen Klopp has Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet at his disposal with the German his preferred choice. However, he's prone to the odd mistake.

So much so he remains in the market for another keeper with the likes of Stoke City's Jack Butland and Atletico Madrid's Jab Oblak, among others, muted as potential replacements.

But Mirror are claiming Liverpool are exploring the possibility of luring Reina back to the club, as back-up to Karius ahead of next season.

As well as Liverpool, AC Milan are also reportedly eyeing up his services.

Not to mention fellow Premier League outfit Newcastle United who expressed a desire to snap him up.
