German winger Julian Draxler, who is a top transfer target of Liverpool and Arsenal, has dealt both Premier League clubs a blow by revealing that he has no plans to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
Following the arrivals of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe for a combined £360 million this summer, it was expected that Draxler would be sold to help offset potential Financial Fair Play issues as well as freeing the Germany international up for regular first team football, which he wasn't expected to enjoy at the Parc des Princes with Neymar and Mbappe being brought in.
And while Draxler would have liked to play more than the 14 appearances he's been handed by Unai Emery this term, the former Schalke and Wolfsburg attacker has insisted he remains happy in the French capital and is committed to his current club.

Draxler's debut season with PSG didn't go particularly well, with the 24-year-old being limited to just 25 appearances in all competitions as the Parisiens surrendered their French league title to Monaco.
Speaking during an interview on This is Paris on beIN SPORTS, Draxler said, "I think it's very important that Paris can buy this type of great player, like Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
"It's a great feeling to play alongside these players. On the one hand it was great that we could get them, but, from my point of view, it was mixed because each player has their own personal objectives and you always want to play every match. 'Both Neymar and Kylian play in my position on the wings, so you think about every option.
"But I have confidence in my abilities and I have the quality to play here and I never considered leaving Paris Saint-Germain after just six months.

"I am very happy to have found a new position on the pitch and it's really amazing to play with them."
Of course, the matter may be taken out of Draxler's hands should Emery decide the German winger is surplus to requirements but for the time being, the former Schalke man has no intention of moving to the Premier League, which is sure to be to the chagrin of Arsene Wenger and Jurgen Klopp.
