John Terry appears set to join a new club.
The defender emotionally departed Stamford Bridge in 2017 and subsequently signed a one-year deal at Aston Villa.
He enjoyed one season in the Championship but failed to earn promotion, as Villa lost out on a spot in the Premier League to Fulham in the Play-Off final.
The 37-year-old has been linked with a host of clubs since being a free-agent including a potential move to Manchester United.

However, Terry is reportedly currently undergoing a medical at Spartak Moscow per reports from Sky Italia.
The Russian outfit are managed by Italian coach Massimo Carrera who has worked with Antonio Conte at both Juventus and Italy.

If the deal comes to fruition, one fixture to look out for is Steven Gerrard's Rangers vs. Spartak Moscow after the pair of clubs were drawn out in the Europa League.
Good move for the ex-England international?
