With his career at a crossroads, Joe Hart will reportedly be subject to an offer from Portuguese giants Sporting CP in the next few days.

After being cast aside by Pep Guardiola, the four-time Premier League Golden Glove winner was sent on loan to Serie A side Torino in Italy and he could be set for another foreign venture as he looks to revive his career.

Following an unimpressive stint on loan at West Ham United, Hart was not only displaced as England's No.1 but found himself omitted completely from Gareth Southgate's World Cup squad - Burnley's Tom Heaton making the standby list ahead of him despite an injury-riddled campaign.

Hart has recently swapped agents as he looks to get back his career back on track and it may be best for him to get away from English football and the microscope that comes with it.

According to Portuguese paper Record, Sporting see him as their top choice to take the place of 10-year servant Rui Patricio, who looks set to join Napoli as AC Milan-bound Pepe Reina's replacement.

City are more than happy to let the former fan favourite leave the club for cheap but the issue for Sporting would be whether they would be willing to pay what would bea pretty steep salary.

West Ham decided to not take up their option to buy the 31-year old permanently and now Sporting are poised to make an opening offer in the next few days.
