Jermain Defoe To Join Rangers On An 18-Month Loan Deal

Jermain Defoe is reportedly set to join Rangers on an 18-month loan deal from Bournemouth.

The 36-year-old striker will up with Steven Gerrard in Scotland.

Bournemouth have included two re-call options in the deal; summer 2019 and January 2020.

Defoe has only featured in four Premier League games this season and is without a goal.

Last season, he bagged four goals which preceded a prolific spell at Sunderland. He netted a combined 30 league goals in the 2015/16 and 2016/17 season.
