It appears Inter Milan are interested in signing Messi.

The CEO of Pirelli, long-time sponsors of Inter Milan, Marco Tronchetti Provera dropped a subtle hint with Italian outlet Tuttosport plastering the sensational transfer across their front page.

"Messi [to] Inter? May be," the headline reads.

Provera is hoping that the clubs Chinese owners Suning will table a monstrous offer to prize Messi away from Barcelona.

"I hope that Suning, once Financial Fair Play will allow it, can make a huge signing," he said.

"Messi? How can you say no to Messi?"
