Remember that transfer story linking Lionel Messi to Inter Milan? Well, the fallen European giants are now after Real Madrid's Luka Modric.
It appears Inter Milan really, really want Modric during this summer window with reports suggesting the club have made contact with the players agents.
That's according to Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio who has just broke the news.

Modric, 32, has been at the Santiago Bernabeu since 2012 following a £30 million transfer from Tottenham Hotspurs. He's been a vital cog in Real Madrid's proverbial wheel, pulling the strings in the middle of the park.

The midfield maestro most recently starred for Croatia during the 2018 World Cup. He was named FIFA World Cup Golden Ball winner following his heroics, captaining his country to a final.

Inter Milan, meanwhile, have been active this window, notably snapping up Radja Nainggolan from AS Roma for a reported £32 million.
The Serie A side are also keeping tabs on Bayern Munich's Arturo Vidal who has been heavily linked with a move to Milan.
But further reports claim the club have made Modric their No.1 target, with the Chilean international their second choice.
Real Madrid have already lost the services of one megastar to an Italian outfit, are the Champions League holders set to lose another to the San Siro club?
