Harry Kane is set to be offered a lucrative five-year contract worth a whopping £80 million, according to stunning reports.

Kane, 27, has reiterated his desire for a transfer away from Tottenham at the end of the season with a host of clubs keeping tabs on his situation.

And it is claimed that Manchester City and Manchester United are prepared to table a huge amount of money in a bid to snap up the England star.

Widespread reports say the Premier League top two will offer him a five-year deal with a £300,000-a-week basic salary, which is an increase of £70,000 from his current contract.

City and United are chasing Kane who reportedly prefers a move to the blue side of Manchester.

It is suggested that he prefers a switch to Pep Guardiola's title-winning side as he plans to stay in the Premier League.

Kane, who has 22 league goals to his name this season, has been a prolific goal-scorer for Spurs, but has failed to win a single trophy in his career.

He's thought to be keen on a better chance at winning silverware heading into his prime.

Former Spurs and Man United forward Teddy Sheringham has urged the Red Devils to go out and get Kane in the summer.

"From a Manchester United point of view, if you can get him, then go get him," he said.

"You're talking about Harry Kane.

"He is the top No.9 in the world for me. People talk about [Erling] Haaland who is a very good youngster coming through with unbelievable promise, but Harry Kane is the best number nine in the world.

"Tottenham supporters won't want to hear that, but they've heard it for the last three years - Harry Kane is a big money player, he's the best and everybody wants him."
