And Man City fans reckon the 20-year-old superstar dropped a hint regarding his future.

Walking down the tunnel towards the pitch, he appeared to say: "Beautiful, huh?!"

Haaland's comment sent social media wild with Man City supporters thinking this is a sign that he will transfer to the club at the end of the season.

One Twitter user wrote: "Did he say Beautiful. Yh he defo coming now."

A second tweeted: "HE IS BUZZING HAHA he loves it."

A third added: "He's coming homeee."

Haaland has been the subject of intense transfer speculation amid meetings with Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Man City are also thought to be interested in snapping up the Norwegian international with Pep Guardiola heaping praise on the talented forward.

"To score that number of goals at his age is not easy. He's 20 years old and the numbers speak for themselves," he said.

"When that happens it's because he can score with the right, the left, via counterattacks, in the box. He's a fantastic striker, everyone knows it.

"The only thing I can say is that he is an exceptional striker. With his age, he is an exceptional striker. He's a fantastic player - that's all."
