Gareth Bale won't be leaving Real Madrid according to the Welshman's agent.

Bale has supposedly fallen out with Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane and has constantly been caught acting unprofessionally in recent games.

The former most expensive player ever has had a torrid time at Real Madrid since his arrival. Even though the winger has been instrumental in many of their trophies over the years, his ongoing feud with Zinedine Zidane is still at breaking point.

With Bale constantly being caught goofing around in training, on the bench, and not celebrating with the team after their recent La Liga title win, it seems that Bale's time at Madrid surely must be coming to an end.

However, according to his agent Jonathan Barnett, Bale won't be leaving until his contract expires in 2022.

"Gareth is fine. He has two years left on his contract," he told BBC Sport.

"It's a great loss that he's not in the Real Madrid team at the moment but he will not leave."

Real Madrid has struggled to find any club willing to take on Bale's £600,000-a-week contract.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic appears set to have a big impact on transfer market spending, but Barnett denied Bale was holding out for Zidane to leave Real Madrid.

"He likes living in Madrid and he is going nowhere...He is still as good as anyone else in the team. It's up to [Real Madrid manager] Zinedine Zidane...Of course there's been interest but there's hardly a club in the world which can afford him."

When a deal was agreed to take the former Tottenham player to Chinese club Jiangsu Suning last summer, Zidane said Bale's departure would be "best for everyone" before the move collapsed.
