Florian Thauvin Gives The Most Brutally Honest Post-Match Interview Of All Time

To say that Marseille winger Florian Thauvin was unhappy with his team's performance against Bordeaux on Friday night is a massive understatement.

Rudi Garcia's side lost 2-0 thanks to goals from Francois Kamano and Nicolas de Preville and after that result, they sit in fifth place in the Ligue 1 ladder, an incredible 38 points behind leaders Paris Saint Germain.

It was a disaster from start to finish for Thauvin and his teammate and after the game, the 26-year-old produced one of the most brutally honest interviews in recent history.

"I'm talking shit, I'm tired but we've been poor this season." he said.

"It's the same story every season. I'm fed up. For a top-3 finish, it's over. And even if we get into CL, what's the point? We're rubbish."

Thauvin has unsurprisingly been linked with a move away from the Orange Velodrome, with both Inter and AC Milan both keen on a move for the pacey winger.

Marseille reportedly value Thauvin at around €50 million, according to CalcioMercata.

But manager Garcia wants him to stay and revealed so earlier this month:

"Flo is certainly one of our tops players, one of the players who brought the team at arm's length, with others, last season and this season." he said.

"He continued with important stats early in the season despite a difficult preparation. He is in any case very motivated to work and work more because he knows that there is only that way efficiency returns. On his return from selection, during his day of rest, before Angers, he came to train. I am thoroughly behind him. I make sure he finds this flamboyant side."
