Ronaldo, who has one year left on his current contract, has been the subject of intense transfer speculation following a difficult campaign at Juve last season.

The Red Devils are reportedly prepared to pay their former star man £17 million-a-year to bring him back to England.

What's more, Pogba could head the other way if the two teams can strike a deal.

Pogba's future at Old Trafford has also been clouded with uncertainty. He's been linked with a move to Juve as well as PSG, according to widespread reports.

Speaking ahead of his side's European Championship opener, the Portugal captain addressed the speculation surrounding his future.

He said: "I have been playing at the highest level for many years, this doesn't faze me.

"Maybe if I was 18 or 19 I might have had some sleepless nights, but I'm 36.

"Whatever comes will be for the best regardless of staying at Juve or being transferred.

"The crucial thing now is the Euros, it is my fifth Euros, but for me it's like my first Euros.

"We want to play a good match with good thoughts from the first to the last match."

Despite having a tough time last season, Ronaldo still scored an impressive 36 goals in all competitions.
