Chelsea have turned down a massive £50 million bid for Willian.

The Brazilian remains subject to intense transfer speculation with plenty of clubs keeping an eye on him during the summer transfer window.

Manchester United have expressed a keen interest in snapping up the 29-year-old attack minded player with Jose Mourinho hoping to reunite with him at Old Trafford.

Mourinho has bolstered his ranks by drafting in fellow Brazilian Fred from Shaktar Donetsk.

But if the Portuguese manager wants to sign Willian then he'll have to fend off competition from Barcelona, who tabled a £50 million offer for the World Cup star.

However, Chelsea have rejected Barcelona's bid.

Barcelona appeared to be pole position to sign Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann until the French ace confirmed he's staying put in the Spanish capital.

The 2017/18 La Liga champions are now looking elsewhere for talent in the shape of Willian.

According to Daily Mail, Willian's representatives have been in Barcelona yet Chelsea aren't prepared to sell.

The report also suggest United are willing to shell out a figure in excess of £50 million to acquire his services.

Could the constant speculation turn his head?
