Celtic are looking to pull off a high-profile signing this January transfer window.

The Scottish Premier League outfit have already snapped up new talent in the shape of Vakoun Issouf Bayo, Oliver Burke and Timothy Weah.

But Brendan Rodgers is eager for more additions ahead of the second half of the season.

Reports are even suggesting Celtic are interested in signing Yaya Toure via Daily Record.

The 35-year-old is a free agent after terminating his contract at Olympiacos. He resigned for the Greek club following the end of his illustrious spell at Manchester City in 2018.

He's looking for a club with Celtic keen on securing his services on a short-term deal.
