Leon Bailey remains the talk of the town.

The 20-year-old was subject to a potential England call-up before Gareth Southgate announced his official 23-man World Cup squad.

That's despite the promising winger unable to play for England.

He stoked speculation by teasing England fans with a cryptic Instagram post.

His name has been heavily linked with Europe's elite. The likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United are reportedly interested in acquiring his services.

Bailey enhanced his budding reputation with a superb campaign in Germany's top flight, weighing in with nine goals, some spectacular efforts among them, as well as assists.

And with the Bundesliga wrapped up for another season, it's claimed Bayer Leverkusen have received their first 'concrete offer' for Bailey.

Per reports from ESPN, Bayern Munich have tabled a £52 million offer for Bailey.

However, Leverkusen are holding out for a deal in excess of £90 million.

And if Leverkusen do succumb in selling their prized asset, they would rather sell him to a non-German club, with Real Madrid expressing a huge desire.

The report claims Real Madrid have instructed super-agent Jorge Mendes to engineer a move for Bailey.

Though Bayern are confident the player wants to stay in Germany, and will ultimately transfer to the Allianz Arena.

If Leverkusen do sell Bailey, the club will be gain a massive profit considering they signed him for a measly £11 million from Genk in 2016.

Where will Bailey be plying his trade once the summer transfer window slams shut?
