Gareth Bale's Agent Calls Zinedine Zidane A "Disgrace" In Fierce Response

Gareth Bale's agent has blasted Zinedine Zidane for his comments about the Real Madrid winger.

Jonathan Barnett, who brokered Bale's £86 million transfer to Real Madrid in 2013, didn't hold back when he was asked about Zidane's disparaging words.

"Zidane is a disgrace to speak like that about someone who has done so much for Real," he said.

Zidane all-but confirmed Bale's exit following his side's pre-season defeat to Bayern Munich by revealing that the Welshman is in talks to leave Real Madrid this summer.

"We hope he leaves soon," the French manager said about Bale. "It would be best for everyone. We are working on his transfer to a new team.

"I have nothing personal against him, but there comes a time where things are done because they must be done.

"I have to make decisions. We have to change.

"The exit is the coach's decision, and also of the player, who knows the situation.

"The situation will change, I do not know if in 24 or 48 hours, but it will - and it's a good thing for everyone."
