Gareth Bale's Agent Calls Zinedine Zidane A "Disgrace" In Fierce Response

Gareth Bale's agent has blasted Zinedine Zidane for his comments about the Real Madrid winger.

Jonathan Barnett, who brokered Bale's £86 million transfer to Real Madrid in 2013, didn't hold back when he was asked about Zidane's disparaging words.

"Zidane is a disgrace to speak like that about someone who has done so much for Real," he said.

"If and when Gareth goes it will be because it is in the best interest of Gareth and nothing to do with Zidane pushing."

Zidane all-but confirmed Bale's exit following his side's pre-season defeat to Bayern Munich by revealing that the Welshman is in talks to leave Real Madrid this summer.

"We hope he leaves soon," the French manager said about Bale. "It would be best for everyone. We are working on his transfer to a new team.

"I have nothing personal against him, but there comes a time where things are done because they must be done.

"I have to make decisions. We have to change.

"The exit is the coach's decision, and also of the player, who knows the situation.

"The situation will change, I do not know if in 24 or 48 hours, but it will - and it's a good thing for everyone."

The ex-Tottenham man is on the verge of ending his association with the La Liga giants as he nears a move away from the Spanish capital within 24 or 48 hours.

The 30-year-old has enjoyed a trophy-laden spell at Real Madrid. He's won La Liga, Copa del Rey and FOUR Champions League titles during his glittering six-year stint.

Bale, whose three years left to run on his massive £600,000-a-week contract, is reportedly attracting interest from Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Spurs.

As well as an unnamed Chinese Super League team who're willing to double his current wages.
