In one of the Chinese Super League's biggest moves yet, Atlético Madrid have confirmed that they have agreed to sell both Yannick Carrasco and Nicolás Gaitán to Dalian Yifang - a club that was founded in 2009.

Carrasco made over 100 appearances for Los Rojiblancos and famously scored in the 2016 Champions League final against Real Madrid, and will leave for €30 million, according to Spanish channel La Sexta, via AS.

Here's how Atletico announced the news on their official Twitter:

A statement on the Belgian's departure was released on Atletico's official website on Monday afternoon:

"Yannick Carrasco has been transferred to Dalian Yifang, from the Chinese Super League. The Belgian winger joined Atlético de Madrid on 10 July 2015 and made 124 appearances for our club."

In the present season, he defended our colours in 28 matches. Everyone at the club wishes Yannick well for his time with Dalian Yifang."

Gaitan passed the first part of a medical with Dalian Yifang this morning as both deals have been completed, according to Atletico's official website.

A statement of his departure was also released on Atletico's official website on Monday afternoon:

"Nico Gaitán has been sold to Dalian Yifang, from the Chinese Super League. The Argentine winger joined Atlético de Madrid during the 2016 summer transfer window and made 49 appearances for our club

In the present season, he defended our colours in 13 matches. Everyone at the club wishes Nico well for his time with Dalian Yifang."

Gaitan might have been linked with a move to Manchester United on 179 occasions during his career, but the Chinese Super League awaits his talent.
