AC Milan Plotting €40 Million Loan Offer For Sergej Milinkovic-Savic

AC Milan have now set their transfer sights on Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

The Serbian international has been subject to intense transfer speculation following his campaign last season with Lazio.

He's been heavily linked with a move away from Rome, with the likes of Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid, to name but a few, reportedly keen on snapping up his services.

And it appears there's a new team in the hunt for his signature.

Enter; AC Milan.

The fallen European giants have already acquired Mattia Caldara and Gonzalo Higuain, among others, ahead of the new term.

But the club who finished sixth last season want to continue reinforcing their side, identifying Milinkovic-Savic as a potential target.

AC Milan are preparing a €40 million loan offer for the player, with an option to buy according to La Sampa.

The 23-year-old midfielder graduated from Vojvodina's youth academy, eventually breaking into their first team.

He secured a switch to Belgium by signing for Genk before completing a transfer to Lazio in 2015.
