Dele Alli was held at knifepoint during a robbery of his home and sustained a minor facial injury.

The Tottenham star was hit in the face during the terrifying incident but didn't suffer any serious injuries, according to Daily Mail.

Two males broke into the back of Alli's home in North London in the early hours of Wednesday and threatened the 24-year-old who has been isolating with his brother Harry Hickford, their two partners and a long-term friend.

Alli is said to have been playing pool with six friends and girlfriend Ruby Mae.

He suffered a minor facial injury after a scuffle with the robbers who stole various items including jewellery and watches before fleeing.

A source told The Sun: "Dele was still up and playing pool downstairs with six friends.

"It all kicked off and Dele was hit in the mouth by one of the robbers.

"One of his friends tried to have a go back and was also beaten.

"After stealing two expensive watches from Dele, one of the robbers went upstairs and jewellery.

"It was a terrifying experience for everyone present and Dele has been left extremely shaken up."

A police investigation has been launched after they obtained CCTV footage of the ordeal.
