Wonderkids have always been a key part of the Football Manager series. There's nothing more satisfying then uncovering a gem on the game and seeing them flourish.

This year will be no different and with players all around the world getting their teeth struck into the FM20 beta version of the game, here are the 12 most exciting youngsters you need to sign - based on their potential ratings from RealSport101.

A Brazilian who is already on the cusp of achieving big things, £22.5 million rated Vinicius Junior already starts out with impressive stats such as 17 dribbling, 17 acceleration, 16 agility, 16 pace, 16 technique, 16 flair and 18 determination on the game.

Don't be surprised if he's in Ballon d'Or contention on your save.

4. Jadon Sancho

The most promising English youngster on the game, it looks set to be lots of fun to play with both him and Chelsea this year - thanks in part to their transfer ban and subsequent blooding of young players from Frank Lampard.

So young that Barcelona had to ask his parents' permission for him to make his debut, 16-year old Ansu Fati has been fast-tracked into the Barcelona first-team and became the youngest player in La Liga history to score and assist a goal in the same game.

With 17 agility, 17 flair, 16 acceleration, 15 dribbling, 15 technique and 13 finishing, expect big things of him in FM, where he is valued at just £825,000.
