The Top 10 Left-Backs In The World Right Now Have Been Ranked

Barcelona star Jordi Alba has been crowned the world's best left-back ahead of Liverpool ace Andy Robertson.
Alba, 31, was a former Barca youth academy product who was released in 2005 and spent three years playing for Valencia's senior team.
But Barcelona brought the Spanish left-back back to the Camp Nou in 2012 in a deal worth £11.2m.
Alba has since established himself as an integral member of the Barcelona squad and is widely praised for his versatility in defending and attacking.
The Daily Star ranked the Spain international top of the pile, saying he is a "truly modern full-back" and a "true all-rounder."
According to the newspaper, Alba has established himself as a "formidable defender and a brilliant option in the final third."
That's not to mention The Daily Star pointing to the former Valencia star's trophy success both at club level and on the international stage.
Alba has won five La Liga titles, four Copa del Reys and a Champions League alongside the 2012 European Championship with Spain.

Liverpool star Robertson, 26, has become an integral part of Jurgen Klopp's title-winning side alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold.
The Scotland international, who is widely considered by many fans as the best left-back in the world right now, finished runner-up to Alba in the rankings.
The Daily Star said that Robertson has "developed into the number one left-back in the Premier League in recent seasons."
The newspaper added praise for Robertson's chemistry with fellow Liverpool star Sadio Mane, while his "prowess at the back has made Liverpool the best defensive team in the league this season."
