The Top 10 Footballers In Europe Have Been Revealed

Cristiano Ronaldo has shockingly missed out on a place in the top 30 players in Europe, according to the CIES Football Observatory.

The Juventus superstar, 34, enjoyed a superb start to life in Italy as the Old Lady captured the Italian Super Cup and Serie A title last season.

And Ronaldo also added more silverware to his illustrious playing career as Portugal won the inaugural Nations League title in the summer.

But the ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid star only managed to score an index ranking of 332, leaving him in 31st place in Europe.

Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi came out on top of the pile as he secured a whopping 401 index score.

And Ajax star Hakim Ziyech surprisingly managed to beat Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe to second place.

Messi broke the deadlock with fierce rival Ronaldo for most Ballon d'Or wins as he scooped his record-breaking sixth award earlier this month.

And the 32-year-old Argentine star was also named the highest-scoring forward in CIES' rankings for individual positions.
