Timo Werner missed a gilt-edged chance for Germany as they suffered a shock defeat to North Macedonia on Wednesday.
Werner made a complete mess of a huge opportunity in the second-half with the game evenly poised at 1-1.
In the 80th minute, Manchester City's Ilkay Gundogan latched onto a through ball to set up the Chelsea forward who appeared destined to hit the back of the net.

But he fluffed his lines as he poked the ball wide in an agonising moment which proved extremely crucial.
Just five minutes after Werner failed to put Germany ahead in the World Cup qualifier, North Macedonia retook the lead thanks to Eljif Elmas who scored from close range.
Needless to say, fans on social media pulled no punches as they savagely trolled Werner for his miss on the international stage.
One brutally wrote: "Another expensive striker that flopped at Chelsea. The lineage of Shevchenko- Torres- Werner lives strong."

A Liverpool fan tweeted: "I thank god we signed jota instead of this fraud everyday."
A third added: "For some reason he went with his left instead of right."
Germany currently occupy third place in Group J - behind first-placed Armenia and North Macedonia.
