Renato Sanches' loan stint at Swansea City hasn't worked out at all, and things got worse for the 2016 Golden Boy this afternoon.
Initially seen as a coup for the Swans, after Paul Clement used his contacts at Bayern Munich to land him, Sanches' confidence looks completely shot and his highlight in English football has been passing the ball to a Carabao advertising board.
Football Manager wonderkids who flopped:
Today, the Benfica youth product started against Championship leaders Wolves in the FA Cup third round tie but was forced off after just 35 minutes at Molineux after he pulled up with a hamstring injury.
The 20-year old was apparently not happy as he walked down the tunnel, and today's events basically sum up his Swansea stint so far.
At this point, I'm starting to feel sorry for Sanches. There was so much hype surrounding him a couple of years back and he's gone completely backwards as a player.

Still, he's only 20 so you'd think he'd have time on his side but things certainly don't looking promising at the moment.
