Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is the Premier League's worst goalkeeper, if stats are anything to go by.

We all know that stats don't always tell the story; they can make out as if Matt Jarvis is a better winger than Cristiano Ronaldo. But these stats do provide further evidence of the dramatic dip in form by Courtois, who conceded three in his last outing.

Courtois was established as Chelsea's No.1 in the club's title-winning season, with Petr Cech moving to Arsenal in the summer of 2015 as a result.

But the Belgian has been unable to replicate the same form he produced at Atletico Madrid and these stats back that up.

Of all the goalkeepers in the Premier League to have made four or more appearances this season, Courtois is right at the bottom in terms of his save rate - which stands at 47%. Of the 17 shots he has to deal with, he has made eight saves and conceded nine goals.

Chelsea fans have quite clearly been furious with the likes of Gary Cahill and Branislav Ivanovic this season, while Courtois has also come under immense scrutiny. He hasn't helped his case much though, and openly talked about the possibility of a return to Spain when his Chelsea contract is up.

Leading the goalkeeping charts in the Premier League in the statistics world is Tottenham's Hugo Lloris, who boasts an impressive 78% save rate.
